About the college

St. Aloysius College is a post graduate autonomous college which was founded in 1951 and is affiliated to Rani Durgavati Vishwavidyalaya. It is a Christian college owned and established by the Catholic Diocese of Jabalpur. It belongs to the Minority Community of the Catholics and is administered by the said diocese through St. Aloysius College Society. The college has been Reaccredited for a period of seven years with A+ Grade by NAAC, Bangalore (CGPA - 3.68/4.00). It has also been awarded the status of College with Potential for Excellence by UGC and DST FIST Supported.

About Jabalpur

Jabalpur is one of the prominent cities of Madhya Pradesh State in Central India. It is on the bank of the Holy River Narmada, Jabalpur is famous for National Parks (Tiger reserves) around it and marble rocks near the River Narmada. From Wildlife Tourism point of view also, Jabalpur has its unique presence in the Tourist Map of India.

About the Seminar

The key theme of the seminar highlights the role of Skill India campaign for transformation of Indian workforce. The major objective of the campaign is to create opportunities, space and scope for the development of the talents of Indian youth. India faces a huge Skill gap between demand and supply of Skilled force. So for fulfilling the Skill gap of Indian labour force and to become eligible enough to fit into the industry market requirement Skill India mission has been adopted by the Government.
